that was so sweet and nostalgic even though my family never had those conversations. love the artstyle and colors and everything, but sounds of baby drinking or eating were a bit too loud. but maybe its the point - to show how a child only "hears" themself and cares about their tea and sweets
thank you for playing and your comment! we're glad you could relate and feel the nostalgia :) And yea, it kind of was the point that the baby's talking "interrupted" the conversation! the idea was, as the player it's up to you how much you want to interrupt or hear your parents' conversation. you read into it really well!
I find the overall art direction, dialogue writing, and even the charming SFX throughout the game to be incredibly endearing and warming. I really loved how much love can be felt in the texture of the home, to the nicknames from the parents, to the light hearted but length debate of understanding in their debates. The nicknames were such a highlight!!! I think it's such a stellar replication of a wonderfully endearing experience!!
